Login access

This article outlines the difference between login access and survey access. Followed by information on how users log in first time.

Login (platform) access vs. Survey access

Login access refers to accessing the Eletive platform through the Sign in page

Depending on the organization's setup, users log in with either:

Note: The "Remember me" checkbox can be used for a more seamless login experience.

The "Remember me" session is valid for 30 days. Once expired, or manually logging out, will require the user to log in again.

Survey access refers to accessing the survey page to answer a survey

  • A survey invite is sent directly to the user's email, containing a unique survey link.
  • For user profiles without email, the Kisok function is used to access the survey page

Administrators & Superuser

When creating a new user with the Administrator or Superuser role, the user will get a "Welcome email" with an invite link to the platform to create a password. This email is sent shortly after creating the user profile.

Please note that existing users who get their profile role updated to Administrator or Superuser access will NOT get this Welcome email.

Other users

Other users, like managers, employees, and all other roles, will have the ability to create their password after completing the first survey. This way, users are not spammed with emails, and the survey response process is easy and streamlined to keep a high participation rate.

Note: If SSO is active, they will not set an Eletive password when answering their first survey.

Gaining access without performing a first survey

If you want a user to sign in to the tool for some reason, without sending a survey. Make sure you have created them as users in the platform, and tell them to use the forgot password feature.

In case SSO is active, they sign in by entering their email on the Sign in page

First-time user verification by managers

The first time a survey should be performed, managers have not signed up through an email and signed in to the tool. If the organization wants managers to verify their own user data by activating that feature, they should utilize the forgot password feature. This is the suggested way of working:

  • Create all the data as you intend it to be
  • Send out an email to managers linking the forgot password guide and tell them to use it to gain access to app.eletive.com
  • Perform the verification or work that you want to be performed

However, if a survey has been previously been sent out, the managers will have access. Please also note that if SSO is active, you can only tell them to sign in right away without using the forgot password feature.
