Why can't I access my survey?
If you see a message stating that you’ve already completed the survey or that it has been closed, there are several possible explanations listed below.
If you clicked on your survey link and got this message:
"You have already completed the survey or the survey has been closed. You will be notified when a new survey is available."
This means your survey is either already submitted or no longer accessible. There are 3 potential reasons for this:
1. You have already completed the survey
Great! You have already answered the survey and your answers have been submitted. No further action is needed.
2. You opened the survey but didn’t finish it
The system submits your answers when you reach the last question and then close the browser tab or session. If you only answered part of the survey, you can always reopen it and continue as long as the survey is still open.
However, if you went through all the questions and later closed your browser tab or session, your survey was automatically submitted.
What you can do:
It is not possible to reopen a submitted survey. If you need to change your answers, you can contact your company's Eletive administrator to request a reset. This means your previous responses will be deleted, and you can retake the survey from the beginning.
Note: The ability to delete or reset survey responses is currently limited to engagement surveys. This functionality is not available for 360 Feedback surveys or Custom Surveys.
3. You never started the survey
If you have not yet started the survey but still see this message, it means that either:- The deadline for this survey has passed, so access is no longer available. Please make sure you're using the invitation or notification linked to the current, active survey rather than an expired one.
- Another person may have answered the survey on your behalf if you shared the invitation or survey link with someone else (Survey links and invitations are strictly personal, please do not forward or share them).
What you can do:
1. You will be notified when the next survey is available.
2. If you shared your survey link with someone else, please inform them of the mistake. If the survey is still open, reach out to your organization’s Eletive administrator and request that the responses under your profile be deleted so you can complete the survey yourself.

- You already took the survey → No further action is needed.
- You want to retake the survey → Contact your Eletive administrator to request a reset (your previous answers will be deleted).
- You missed the deadline → Wait for the next survey notification.
