Integrate with Microsoft Teams

Describes how to enable Teams integration in Eletive. A feature that enables notifications from Eletive to be sent to your Teams Workspace.

 

Target audience: Administrators, Superusers

Configuration steps

In Eletive

  1. Navigate to Settings / Features in the left side bar

  2. On the Feature page, enable the Microsoft integration

  3. Now navigate to Settings / Integrations in the left side bar
  4. Click on Teams
  5. Enter your Tenant ID
  6. Press the Connect button. 
  7. The Teams is now enabled on Eletive end. 
  8. With the integration for MS Teams enabled you will now also see the Teams Notification option in the Notification settings.
  9. Continue setup in Eletive by adjusting the global notification settings for Teams.

Note: The users' email in Teams need to match the user's email in Eletive.

In Microsoft Teams

Eletive has an app in Microsoft Marketplace that can be downloaded and installed for all or selected users.

A Teams Administrator can manage apps within the tenant. Below are Microsoft's own documentation App management and preinstallation of apps.

When are the Teams notifications sent?

Temas notifications are based on the plattforms notifications, what messages that are sent and when they are sent can be found here: Notifications under the section called Notification triggers.  

Note: Eletive wants our customers to be happy and we gladly help you with Eletive-related challenges, such as questions related to the MS Teams integration. 

However, we cannot guarantee consulting capabilities in other systems than Eletive such as MS Teams. For this reason, Eletive does not do any consulting in other systems than Eletive, which is by default stated in Terms and Conditions in customer contracts.
