User management and surveys

In general, the organization's state when a survey is sent is preserved even if data changes after the survey starts. Changes after the survey start will only affect the next survey (not the current one). Read more about why in historical data. The exception to this rule is when creating new users during surveys.

Creating users

Before

Will be included as normal.

During

Users created during a survey will receive a survey invite and will be included in the survey automatically (including participation rate). The reason for this is that when user provisioning is performed, this process should be automatic so that all users are included. If an existing user is added to a segment that has an ongoing survey, they will also get an invitation. The user can expect the survey invite within 12 hours after added to Eletive.

After

Users added after a survey will not affect the historical result (including participation rate) in any way, only the future like if the user was added before a survey.

Participation setting

Before

Will be reflecting the setting as normal.

During

Turning the 'Participate in Survey' toggle OFF during an active survey will not remove the user from the survey. If a user was mistakenly included, the backdate feature should be used to correct this.

If the 'Participate in Survey' toggle is turned ON during an active survey, the user will receive an invitation within a delay of up to 12 hours.

After

This will not have any effect on historical results, it will be like doing it before the next survey.

Deleting users

Before

Will not be included like normal.

During

Deleting a user during a survey will not change anything, the user will not be removed from the survey. If the user should be removed from the survey, first use the backdate feature and delete the user after using backdate.

After

This will not have any effect on historical results, it will be like doing it before the next survey. Read more about this in historical data.
